Red River

Scientific name of 'Red River' Crabgrass is Digitaria Ciliaris. Commonly it is also known as hairy crabgrass. It is warm season annual grass developed by Noble Foundation of Ardmore, Oklahoma. The grass has super palatability, high protein content relative to nitrogen inputs, and relatively high digestibility which makes it excellent for grazing as a high quality, leafy, fine stem hay. It is essentially a nontoxic forage and has excellent reseeding ability.
