The olive is a species of a small tree in the family Oleaceae. The plant has significant importance in the Mediterranean region as the source of olive oil, and is one of the most extensively cultivated fruit crops in the world. It produces silvery green, oblong leaves and small, white, feathery flowers. The fruit is divided into three categories: green, semi-ripe/turning-color, and black/ripe.

And even a small tree can produce 20 lbs. of olives each year. Plenty for healthy salads, recipes and incredible home-made olive oil.
Arbequinas are very adaptable and can be grown in all areas of the United States. They're seldom bothered by pests and can easily be grown organically in all 50 states.
