This hardy and easy to grow annual is a must for every herb garden. It bears attractive, lightly colored flowers and sweet-scented, tangy flavored leaves. Culture: Sow seed in mid-spring, full sun in rich loamy soil. Also grows well in containers. Harvest: Pick leaves just as flower buds are forming. Uses: Fresh or dried to flavor salads, salad dressings, soups, sauces, stuffings, egg dishes, meats and vinegars. Preserving: To dry, hang stems in a dry dark well-ventilated area. Store in air tight containers.
