Thyme seeds

Extremely popular perennial herb with leaves that have a strong, clove-like smell and flavor. They are excellent fresh or dry, with chowders, sauces, sea food dishes, stuffings, soups, meat and poultry. Grows 6"-12" (15-30cm) tall. Strong erect plants are useful ground covers in hot areas. Culture: Full Sun, frequently in summer, leaves are best when the plant is in bloom. Uses: As a spice; vinegar and oils can be made from dried leaves. Thyme is a favorite of bees, producing excellent honey. Medicinal: Stimulates the appetite and aids digestion. Aide to colds and sore throats.
