Plugging is one of the easiest and most economical ways to establish a new lawn or repair a damaged lawn. Grass plugs have a complete root system and are easier to establish than sod. Water daily for the first 7 to 10 days. Root-in will occur in about 7-14 days and 14-20 days during cool months. Mow to recommended heights for a finer grass texture, denser turf, and increased lateral spread.
The Yard Butler Sod Plugger is one of the smoothest and most economical ways to establish a new lawn, convert a troubled lawn, or repair a damaged lawn. It digs holes and transplants sod from an existing grass area, while easily extracts a soil core the same size as most commercially available plugs on the market.
