Caravan G controls more than 20 turfgrass diseases including brown patch, red thread, pythium blight, and leaf spot. Early season application can prevent brown patch for up to one month.
Caravan G also controls numerous insects such as white grubs, chinch bugs, sod webworms and ants. It has a wide application window and relaxed watering requirements, effective even if there is no rain or irrigation for up to one week after application.
While timing and geographies will vary, one application of Caravan G made between May 15 and July 15 can yield season-long grub control and up to one-month preventive brown patch control. For additional disease control, follow-up applications can be made with Heritage G or Headway G fungicides as needed.
By using a highly water-soluble, quick-release carrier, Caravan G is able to provide the effectiveness of a sprayable with the convenience of a granular. A light irrigation or even a heavy dew will disperse the active ingredients systemically into the plant.
