To many, this is the finest quality winter squash. Length 8"-12" (20-30 cm) and about 3 pounds. Generally cylindrical, with a small seed cavity flesh is extremely fine, sweet, yellowish-orange. Requires very rich soil, as squash is a voracious feeder. Water regularly from time of flowering until fruits ripen.
