Fig trees prefer 7-8 hours of full sun during the growing season. These plants require well-drained soil with lots of organic matter. In areas with dry climates, water fig trees deeply at least once a week. Once established, figs can be very drought-tolerant.
I ordered two figs and one olive. The first shipment contained a fig with a caterpillar issue, as it was riddled with holes. The second was basically dead and dropped all leaves when removed from the box. I have sent 3 separate emails with photos and not received any response. This is very disappointing and somewhat explains the quality of the plants received.. Buyer beware of the 100% satisfaction guarantee.
