Heirloom Tendergreen Improved Bush Garden Bean Seeds
Extremely meaty, smooth, dark green, round, tender pods, 6"-7" (15-18 cm.) long. Absolutely stringless at all stages of growth. Thin highly productive bean is ideal for home and market gardens. Non-genetically engineered seeds.
Culture: Any good, well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date, when soil reaches approximately 50 degrees F, sow seed 2" (5 cm.) apart 1" (2.5 cm.) deep in rows 24"-36" (60-90 cm.) apart. For continuous supply, plant every three weeks until July 15th.
Harvest: Maturity 52 days. Pick regularly when young to encourage new pod set. Extended season, high yield even in hot weather.
Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
Preserving: Can or freeze.
