Buttercrunch Lettuce Seeds
Small rosette heads, 4 1/2" (11.25 cm.) wide, outer leaves are smooth and dark green. This butterhead variety is longstanding, slow-bolting, bibb type with considerable heat resistance. Non-genetically engineered.
Culture:Can be started indoors and transplanted or direct sown. Requires a rich, well drained soil, kept continually moist during the growing season. Root systems develop best when planted in spring.
Harvest: Successive plantings every two weeks until fall for a continuous supply. Pick when heads are full.
