Clemson Spineless Okra Seeds
1939 AAS Winner. Best when pods are 4" (10 cm.) to 5" (12.5 cm.) long. Straight, deep green, spineless, ribbed pods grow 7" (17.5 cm.) to 8" (20 cm.) long, 1 1/2" (3.75 cm.) wide. Prolific and of fine quality. Non-genetically engineered.
Culture:Sow indoors in late winter, plant outdoors in May. Water plentifully.
Harvest: Best when pods are 4" (10 cm.) to 5" (12.5 cm.) long.
Nutrition: One serving gives MDA of vitamin C; also high in vitamin A.
Uses:Pods are cut up into stews, soups, catsup and other relishes to add flavor. Okra can be frozen.
