Culture:Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked in the spring, and every two weeks until late spring. Sow again in fall. Widely adapted for growing under a variety of differeent growing conditions. Water abundantly and fertilize when 3" (7.5 cm.) tall, thinning to 6" (15 cm.) between plants is essential. Harvest: Cut outer leaves when 4" (10 cm.) long, leaving center to form new leaves. Nutrition: Fat and cholesterol free, low in calories. High in vitamins A, B, C, and iron.
