Dragon Fruit Plant

Currently, we are unable to send plants to California.

The dragon fruit, also known as "pitahaya", is originally native to Mexico but has become significant throughout Asia. The plant only blooms at night with large, white, fragrant flowers, and produces the fruit thats texture is sometimes likened to that of the kiwi because of its black, crunchy seeds. The flesh, which is eaten raw, is mildly sweet and low in calories. The dragon fruit sets on the cactus-like trees 30 to 50 days after flowering and can sometimes have 5 to 6 cycles of harvests per year.
